I didn't wish for anyone to translate this text but it's allowed as long as the content is unchanged.] En-nekosan... Since you've passed away, everything was changing slowly. Now, it's the seventh year... and I'm here for the last time to tell you what I want to tell and express all of my thoughts and feelings in my own way. Seven years of watching silently in the shadow... life of many people has been changed; somebody become the part of Kemono culture, somebody abandon the way of beasts and seeking for the new path, somebody still causing the hidden conflicts. I feel sad for people who did that because they will never realize the importance of Kemono culture in the way you tried to express it as the "Hearts" or the guidance to the "Trail of the beasts". Sadly, its revision was unfinished. It's not the mere fetish but the essense of earthly fantasy. It should not be the specific thing for specific group of people but the "Genre" which everybody can be enjoyed. Unfortunately, it's quite hard to be possible. All human has his/her own favorites and their own dislikes. It's fine for them to choose what they love but it's bad for them to attack what they hate. It came in the form of the "Conflict" which is still increasing. Not only the Kemono culture that effected by the conflict but the other genres as well. They were alienated by some groups of people. It's not because of the genre itself but the people who were misled by their own misunderstanding. Thus, it became a major problem in this year. The main concern was related to the freedom of expression and "Banning" attempts. It cause sudden uproar but the damage was not severe. It just only the beginning... more dangerous threats might come in the next year and it's hiding in the cults and politics. Everybody need to be patience and compromise is needed. There will be the time that if a proper movement is made, the Kemono culture will get an outstanding position. I wish that they will see that opportunity soon. I know that it's risky but it's still possible and it's not too late for them. Pixiv has a crucial role to bring many artists together. The community is growing rapidly fast. The Kemono culture gain more attentions from outsiders. From this point, they need to be very careful... because it's more exposed and a small mistake can hurt their reputation easier than the past. There will be the Comiket 77 in next two days. I wish the events and the meetings should be more friendly an less offensive. The most interesting activity in this year is the English translation of "Yaminabe Aries: Tail Tale". The connection between the East and West becomes more visible. That story hold an important clue about... No, it might be the "Coincidence". The tale was told but it's unknown since it happened in the isolated land. They don't know the outside world and some technologies are forbidden. Some of people believe the existence of the "Somewhere" else. Probably, they were "Imprisoned" by their own ignorance. If they can fly like birds, they might attain the freedom. But, the truth is terrifying and it's really a tragic one. The birds were shot down by the hunter. The buried thing is buried. People are possessed by the greed and shut the door to the truth. There are people to work for the one who has the power. Slaves even existed here and it's become the two layer prison. I wish to see the greater influence from the tyrant but I think it's okay (for now). The sequel is unlikely but the backgrouds can be elaborated. The East and the West has the different thoughts about the Kemono culture. Modern Westerners called them "Furry" and connected it with the fear and the sciences of evolution. Some Westerners and Easterners had them in the old books/scrolls and it's believed to be spiritually existed elsewhere. Somehow, they merged together and believed to be the same. Why it's connected with the "Fear" for some Westerners? Because human is weak. They don't have the great abilities like animals. They can't live in the rough environment without clothes. Babies can't survive without their parents while some animals can. Human only has the better evolved brain. If animals have the same evolution level as human, true "Racial Discrimination" could be happen. If it's respected, they worship. If it's hated, they make war. It closely related with fear while only a small portion of people really love them. Sciences and religions are significant factor. They're not the bad things but they were taken too far. It's a pity because some ideas cause many arguments. The strongly hateful person even blamed "Furry" for human degeneration. The belief of "Human is superior" put animals in the greater despair. It's irony because children fairy tales and many Animes/Mangas still have a strong bond to the kids in the form of "Pure and Innocent Fantasy" while many people reject them with the reason of "Too Childish" or simply "Abnormal". Well... it's cursed as someone said but it's blessed to be changed soon or sooner. Anyway, I'm no longer in the position to be involved with the matter of the past. I'm no longer the one who used to be there. There might be someone who dare to venture deep in the conspiracy theory and possible alternate histories in Kemono culture in the future... who knows? I'm not as active as before. I lost my motivations and the relics were burnt to ashes. This might be my final attempt... Human always deeply passionate for this kind of fantasy. Sciences fictions are also the form of fantasy. Whatever... magics and the machines may living together somewhere... Once upon a time in "The Past", magics went missing with some magically evolved animals because the world was "Too corrupted" for them. Once upon a time in "The Future", sciences went gone missing with some biologically evolved animals because the world was "Too corrupted" for them. If mankind was nearly extincted... probably, because the world reach "The End" too soon. The wars and disasters corrupted the whole world. The world was renewed... new species appeared... "Animalia Kingdom" become an intelligent species... Is it possible for evolved animals to think like human? It's possible but some parts might be changed according to their nature. Human's technologies might become ancient artifacts. Human's knowledges might be recorded in the textbooks and some beliefs might be adopted as well. There was a time that the lion become the great king. But, it's just the role established by the human. There was also a time that the lion become the terrifying dictator. The wars occur in many parts of the world. The vicious ruler hold the power of technology and divide the world in to many regions. Surviving human was found but their status was not good. They were preys and the beasts were predators. The magical world is exist. Surviving human in that world has a better status. They made the contact with the other world to help their pity fellows. The beasts of magical world joined them too. However, restoring the peace to the world is not an easy task... This world is just the same... an ideal world is far from the truth. When the world was born, it has no meaning. Lifes become the part of this meaningless world. They survived through the generations... "Homo Sapien" got the best chance. We are lucky to be human but we didn't spent our life in the proper way. We become emotional creatures and were overwhelmed by the fear and the suspicion of "The Unknown". We tried to run away from our ignorance by seeking knowledges and control the nature. We overlooked our wisdom and lost the harmony with the mother earth and governed it with the artificial laws. We called the world as our "Property" without knowing that we are the belonging of this world. It's not also a toy or an experiment subject but we did all of that. When we realize our mistakes, it's too late. We borned in different places. We can't choose our nationality or family. Even if we can choose our own route of life, it never become what we want. It just changing along the way. The life of different people have the effects on our life too. Because of many differences, the invisible barrier was established. We have "Allies" and "Enemies". We have "Ours" and "Yours". Because of the "Selfishness", the "History" becomes the "Tragedy". The Life is so short like our meeting. I could study Japanese but it's too late. I wish I could contribute a better things. I wish everyone to have the better understanding in each other... There are so many wishes but it may never become real. It's almost like the dream and illusion. It became boring when everything meet my expectation. However, the only thing that surprise me is the time I met that person. It just the coincidence but it gave me a chance to see what is really happen. Again, it's just too late but I didn't care anymore because I saw that there are some artists who will probably get the great opportunity in the next year. The artist who was temporary away from the Kemono culture. The artist who has the great ability but didn't has a chance. The artist who was bound by the unavoidable duty. The artist who was in the despair and confusion. The artist who didn't realize in his own talent (yet). The artist who has the trouble with some obstacles. The artist who is becoming the part of Kemono culture. If it's necessary to make a punchline, I would say that "The future is in their hands". I have no chance to talk with them because I'm too different. Now, I'm just the wandering green cat who can do nothing rather than watching. Because my fate was doomed, my existence is next to none. My role is end here. Many events suggested me that I should go somewhere else. For those who stay, I wish them good luck. There are many things I want to say but I can't. Someone who should not read this texts might be here. It's better to not know everything I guess... it's better to left it as it is. You'll be forever in my memory. You left some important things to the Kemono culture. Somebody may not know its importance... but for me, it change my life and my way of thinking. It freed me from the path of violent and heartless feelings. It taught me how to enjoy the Kemono culture and write the works with the true love in my heart. Thanks you for everything... | |
